The  process of making patterns  can be resumed in these steps : Surface Cuts :   Geodesic, Sections ot User defined cutting curves define the pattern layout over the 3Dimensional surface.  Patch Detection :  3d patches over the surface are detected  and flattened to produce 2d Patterns. Optimization patterning with same width constraint Final Patterns with offsets for welding and helper markers  Final patternss on the membrane surface Pattern offsets for welding and pockets then are added, compensation to take in account membrane pre-stress  and markers are added to help the welding process. Pattern Area errors, Edge length errors and Width erros are detected and marked to avoid mistakes and loss of money.
