membranes.Simple to use with a modern UI and fast solver. Based on a
linear FDM (Force Density Method)
1997 - ForTen 32 Release 1.0 . Windows 32 bit application with added
patterning module. More than 60 companies working with this system
worldwide have contributed to let it grow in quality and usability.
2000 - ForTen 2000 New and updated interface to help the user get out
solutions in less time. Added a Non-Linear FDM module . Patterning
improvements makes this platform robust relaiable.
2007 - ForTen 3000 FEA kernel rewritten for speed using fast sparse matrix
solvers. The number of users reaches 156 in 16 countries. The number of
tensiles engineered with this platform demonstrates the overall quality of
the system.
2011 - ixForten 4000 r 1.0 . The ixForten platform is a hole revision of the
system with new and modern technologies. Nokia QT used as the cross
platform framework and a new FEA kernel has been added to allow for
complex static analysis of almost any structure.
2012 - ixForten 4000 r 4.70 . The last version of ixForten 4000 adds a
number of incredible features that makes this system the most powerful
package available on market.
